Chapter 9 Working with Data Models
The following PDM model checks are made on Web services:
| Check | Description and Correction |
|---|---|
| Web service name and code uniqueness | Web service names and codes must be unique in the model.
Manual correction: Modify the duplicate name/code Automatic correction: Appends a number to the duplicate name/code |
| Web service code maximum length | The Web service code length is limited by the maximum length specified in the DBMS definition (Maxlen entry, in the Objects→Web Service category).
Manual correction: Modify the Web service code length to meet this requirement Automatic correction: Truncates the Web service code length to the maximum length specified in the DBMS definition |
