Ends (OOM)

An end is the termination point of an activity or state. Its symbol is a solid ball inside a circle (bull's eye).

An end can be created in the following diagrams:

You can have several ends in the same diagram if you want to show divergent end cases, such as errors scenarios for example:


You can also have no end if you want to show an endless process between two activities.

You are not allowed to use shortcuts of ends, but graphical synonyms are permitted.

You should not use the same end in more than one diagram.
