Flow property sheet Condition tab

The Condition tab contains the following properties:

Parameter Description
Alias Short name for the condition, to be displayed next to its symbol in the diagram.
Event [Only available for BPMN and orchestration languages].
Specifies an event to create an event handler. You can select an event from the list among all the events defined in the model, or you can use the tools to the right of the list to create an object, or to view the properties of the currently selected object (see Events (BPM)).
Variable [Only available for events with a fault stereotype].
Specifies a local variable that retrieves the information associated with the fault event. You can select a variable from the list among all the variables defined in the model, or you can use the tools to the right of the list to create an object, or view the properties of the currently selected object (see Event properties).
Condition (text box) Specifies a condition to be evaluated to determine how the flow should be traversed. You can enter any appropriate information in this box, as well as open, insert and save text files. You can open the Condition tab by right-clicking the flow symbol, and selecting Condition in the contextual menu.

When no alias or condition is defined for a flow whose type is different from Success, the flow type you have selected is displayed next to the flow symbol:
