Process Service Diagram Basics

A Process Service Diagram (PSD) allows you to graphically view your service providers and their potential dependencies. Service providers let you model the implementation of sub-processes with operations available through interfaces (see "Service Providers (BPM)" in the Building Business Process Diagrams chapter). The PSD allows you to have a global view of the services contained in your system.

The PSD is only available with orchestration languages.

You can create and import service providers in a PSD (see "Importing a service provider from a WSDL file" and "Importing a service provider from an OOM or a PDM" in the Building Business Process Diagrams chapter).

In the following example the Process Order service provider depends on the Order Shipment service provider:
