PowerDesigner

PowerDesigner supports object modeling, data modeling, business process modeling, and UML.

For Java development, PowerDesigner allows you to:

• Create Web Service, EJB, Servlet and JSP components and generate code for them
• Reverse engineer Java source and binary code
• Edit the Java code inside PowerDesigner or using an external editor
• Synchronize the model with the Java code
• Generate additional files
• Compile Java code
• Deploy J2EE application into an application server

The PowerDesigner profile allows you to customize the code generator or add your own code generators, such as Ant.
