Extracting dependencies from the repository

Chapter 3 Basic Repository Tasks

You can extract information about external dependencies in a model only if the related model is also consolidated in the repository.

To do so you can:

Select the Extract Dependencies check box in the Extraction dialog box when you extract a document
Select the Extract Dependencies check box in the Repository tab in the General Options dialog box to systematically extract external dependencies
Select the Extract Dependencies check box in the Consolidation dialog box if you choose to extract the model after consolidation
