Uninstalling PowerDesigner and Installation Maintenance

After installing PowerDesigner on your machine, you access installation maintenance when you select Control Panel→Add/Remove Programs or when you restart installation.

The maintenance dialog box does not let you modify the type of license installed on your machine, you can only use it to add or remove components in the current PowerDesigner installation.

This mode allows you to perform the following:

• Modify the current installation in order to remove or add program features on your current install. Select or clear components in the components page.
• Repair the current installation. This option allows you to reinstall the same PowerDesigner configuration as previously installed on your machine. You need to have the software CD or access to the network drive where installation files are copied to repair your current installation.
• Remove the current installation and clean up your registry. You do not need the software CD or access to the network drive in this case.
  
  Note that user files are not removed.
