Chapter 13 Working with MobiLink

Updating the consolidated database PDM

When you change MobiLink options or articles download and upload options, you may need to modify the consolidated database to add:

• Timestamp columns
• Shadow tables
• Triggers to maintain shadow tables
• Stored procedures for connection or table scripts

To do so, you must select the Update Consolidated Database PDM command from the contextual menu of the consolidated database.

This command allows you to create an archived PDM first before updating the PDM.

If you want to cancel the changes, you can open the consolidated database PDM using the Open Model command from the consolidated database contextual menu, and select Edit→Undo from the menu bar.
