Chapter 12 Working with Replication Server
A database replication definition is a description of a set of database objects (tables, transactions, functions, system stored procedures, and DDL) for which a subscription can be created.
You design a Database replication definition the following way:
| Replication Server concept | PowerDesigner concept |
|---|---|
| Database replication definition | Publication with a <<Database>> stereotype |
The following extended attributes are available from the publication with a <<Database>> stereotype property sheet:
| Name | Internal Code | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Replicate DDL | ReplicateDDL | Indicate if the DDL (Data Definition Language) should be replicated |
| Transaction set | TransactionSet | Set of transactions in publication |
