Chapter 11 Building Transformation Control Flow Diagrams

Transformation Synchronizations (ILM)

A transformation synchronization lets you synchronize the execution of several data transformation tasks. It can have two or more incoming control flows coming from a transformation task execution or another transformation synchronization, but cannot have more than one outgoing control flow.

Synchronizations are represented as horizontal or vertical lines. You can change the orientation of the symbol by right-clicking it and selecting Change to Vertical or Change to Horizontal from the contextual menu.
