Chapter 12 Generating Other Models from a PDM
To generate an XML Model, you must choose between one of the following methods:
You must indicate the following parameters when you generate a new XML model:
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
Schema language | Target schema language |
Share | Schema language for the resulting XML model. It uses a shared schema language definition file stored in the XML Languages library |
Copy | Schema language for the resulting XML model. It uses a copy of the schema language definition file stored in the XML Languages library |
Name | File name for the resulting XML model |
Code | Reference code for the resulting XML model |
Configure Model Options | Lets you specify model options for the model to be generated. For example links to requirements in the origin model are preserved, by default, in the generated model, unless you clear the Enable Links Requirements checkbox in the Model Options dialog box before starting the generation |
