Chapter 2 Physical Data Model Basics
Some DBMSs support multiple databases in a single PDM. This feature is enabled by the EnableManyDatabases entry in the Database category of the DBMS.

When you allow multiple databases in the model, a list of databases is displayed in the Model menu, and the Database box disappears from the model property sheet. A Database category is also displayed in the physical options of your database objects.
