Creating a flow

You can create a flow in any of the following ways:

Use the Flow/Resource Flow tool in the diagram Palette.
Select Model→Flows to access the List of Flows, and click the Add a Row tool.
Right-click the model or package in the Browser, and select New→Flow.

For more information about the different ways to create objects, see the "Getting Started with PowerDesigner" chapter in the General Features Guide .

When you create a flow from the Browser or from the list of flows, you must have previously defined source and destination objects for the flow.

Flow creation in a collaborative or executable BPM
You cannot create a flow in the top-level diagram of a collaborative or executable BPM. For these types of models, flows can only be created under a decomposed process.
