Creating a role association

You can create a role association in any of the following ways:

Use the Role Association tool in the diagram Palette.
Select Model→Role Associations to access the List of Role Associations, and click the Add a Row tool.
Right-click the model or package in the Browser, and select New→Role Association.

For more information about the different ways to create objects, see the "Getting Started with PowerDesigner" chapter in the General Features Guide .

When you create a role association from the Browser or from the list of role associations, you must have previously defined source and destination objects for the role association.

Role association under a decomposed process
You cannot create a role association under a decomposed process.
