Fault and Compensate activities

Mapping

You design Fault and Compensate activities using one of the following methods:

• A process object that generates respectively Fault event or Compensation event
• An End object with respectively <<Fault>> or <<Compensate>> stereotype

The second method clearly considers Fault and Compensate as End activities out of which you cannot create flows.

The first method is used by BPEL models and considers Fault and Compensate as activities. Both methods are managed during generation.
