Consolidating Models from PowerDesigner Previous Versions

You can consolidate models from PowerDesigner previous versions into the repository.

If you start consolidation without opening the models in your local workspace, you are asked to convert the files to current version or keep the format of the files and consider the models as an external application documents.

If you open the models in your local workspace before starting consolidation, the models are automatically converted to current version.

To consolidate models from PowerDesigner previous versions:

1. Select→Consolidate.
   
   The Consolidate Multiple Documents dialog box appears.
2. Click the Add document tool.
3. Select one or several documents in a selected directory and click Add.
   
   The models are added to the list of models to consolidate.
4. Define consolidation parameters.
5. Click OK.
