Chapter 7 Extracting Documents

When you extract PowerDesigner models, you can:

Select the Extract to File check box and define a name and a path for the extracted model
Deselect the Extract to File check box. In this case, the model is not extracted to a file, a virtual model without corresponding file is loaded in memory, opened and added to the current local workspace
