Chapter 5 Setting up the Repository on any DBMS

About this chapter

This chapter explains how to set up the PowerDesigner repository if you are not using the Adaptive Server Anywhere authenticated server. You can use this procedure to install the repository on any of the following recommended databases:

• Oracle 7 and higher
• IBM DB2 Common Server and DB2 for OS/390
• Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise
• Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere
• Informix 2000
• Microsoft SQL Server 7 and higher
