Adding a reference to a bitmap join index

You can add a reference to any bitmap join index. You do this, for example, when you create a new reference that you want to include in an existing bitmap join index.

To add a reference to a bitmap join index:

1. Select Model→Join Indexes.
   
   The List of Join Indexes is displayed.
2. Select a bitmap join index in the list.
   
   An arrow is displayed at the beginning of the line.
3. Click the Properties tool.
   
   The bitmap join indexes property sheet opens to the General tab.
4. Click the References tab to display the References tab.
5. Click the Add References tool.
   
   A selection dialog box is displayed. It displays available references depending on the selected base table.
6. Select one or several references in the list.
7. Click OK.
   
   The new reference is displayed in the References list.
   
8. Click OK.
   
   The reference is added to the bitmap join index.
