Automatic creation of O/R mapping

When you generate a PDM from an OOM or an OOM from a PDM, and provided you have selected the O/R mapping check box in the generation options, the OOM objects are automatically mapped to the PDM objects and a data source is created in the OOM.

This default mapping can be very useful in the following situations:

• You have designed an OOM and need to define the PDM that will store OOM objects in a relational database. You can generate a new PDM from the current OOM to have OOM objects linked to PDM objects
• You have created a PDM and want to design the corresponding application software in an OOM. You have to generate a new OOM from the current PDM

After generating automatic object mapping, you can fine tune the links between OOM and PDM objects using the user-defined mapping.
