Defining a comparison filter

You can define a filter on the comparison display if you want to show:

• All objects
• All changes
• Only created objects
• Only deleted objects
• Only modified objects
• Only moved objects
• Only identical objects

To define a filter on the comparison display:

1. Select Tools→Compare Models.
   
   The Select Models dialog box.
2. Select a model from the Model 1 list.
3. Click OK.
   
   The Compare Models window is displayed.
4. Click the arrow next to the Change Filter tool.
   
   The Filter list is displayed.
   
5. Select a filter in the list.
   
   The filter is automatically applied to the compared models and the property comparison part displays only the properties of the nodes selected in the model trees in the object comparison part whose values are different. When the Show Only Identical Objects filter is selected or no filter is selected at all, the property comparison part displays all properties without distinction.
