Applying a business rule to a BPM object

You can apply a business rule to a BPM object from its property sheet.

To apply a business rule to a BPM object:

1. Double-click an object in the model to display its property sheet.
2. Click the Rules tab showing all the business rules already applied to the object.
3. Click the Add Objects tool to open the Selection dialog box.
   
   It contains a list of all the business rules of the model, except the rules that already belong to the object.
4. Select the business rules you want to add to the object.
   
5. Click OK.
   
   The business rules are added to the object and appear in the list of business rules for the object.
   
6. Click OK.
   
   
      U Column in the List of business rules
   When you apply a business rule to an object, the U (Used) column beside this business rule is automatically checked in the List of business rules to indicate that the business rule is used by at least one object in the model. The U column allows you to visualize unused business rules, you can then delete them if necessary.
