Importing a DEF File

You can import a DEF file into PowerDesigner. A DEF file is imported as a .XDB file.

To import a resource file:

1. Select Tools→Resources→DBMS.
   
   The list of DBMS is displayed.
2. Click the Import tool.
   
   A standard file selection box is displayed.
3. Select or browse to the DBMS that you want to import.
4. Click OK.
   
   The file name is displayed in the list of DBMS.
