Enhanced links between models

Feature

Several features have been added to extend the ability of linking models together:

• Extended dependencies can be created between objects belonging to models of different types.
• The main objects in each type of model now have a Related Diagram tab, which lets you easily list diagrams with which it is associated. You can select diagrams from any type of model open in the current workspace.
• Extended links can now link any kind of extensible object and not only extended objects.
• The extended collection and calculated collection definition pages in the profile editor have been enhanced to allow the specification of object kinds from other types of models.

Benefit

These new features provide more links between PowerDesigner models and these links can be monitored using the impact analysis feature.
