Defining object location parameters

By default, PowerDesigner applies the Find Objects feature to the current selection and current version in the repository browser. You can change location in order to find objects in:

Location	Find Objects applied to
Root node	Entire repository content
Folder	Entire folder content
Model	Selected model
Version	Selected version for a single model

To define object location parameters:

Select Repository→Find Objects.

or

Right-click a node in the repository browser and select Find Objects.

The Find Objects dialog box opens to the Name & Location page.

By default, the node selected in the browser appears in the Look In box with its depending items.

Select a location in the Look In box.

Select a version in the Version box.
