Defining repository groups

Groups are used to assign common rights to users in the repository. You can create a hierarchy of groups by inserting sub-groups into a group.

When you install the PowerDesigner repository, two groups are created by default:

Administrators, code ADMN: this group has administrative rights over the repository.
All users, code PUBLIC: this group has no rights defined. Any new user belongs by default to this group upon creation.
