Inserting an item in an ordered list

Some of the lists displayed from the property sheet of an object have an order you must respect when you insert items.

When you want to create a new item in an ordered list, you have to select the insertion row of this item in the list.

Steps To insert an item in an ordered list:

  1. Double-click an object symbol in the diagram to display its property sheet and select the tab corresponding to the item you want to add.

    The corresponding list appears.
  2. Select the item before which you want to insert a new item in the ordered list.
  3. Click the Insert a Row tool.

    The new item is inserted before the selected item in the list. It appears with a default name you can modify.
  4. Click OK.

    or

    Repeat the steps before if you need to add more items to the list. You can add as many items as you need before clicking OK.

Arranging items in an ordered list

In ordered lists, you can use the following buttons to modify the order of items:

Button Moves cursor to

Top of list

Up one page

Up one line

Down one line

Down one page

Bottom of list

You can use the drag and drop feature to arrange items in a list.
