Applying a naming template to a type of object

You can apply a naming template to several types of objects that must share the same name and code format.

To apply a naming template to a type of object:

1. Select Tools→Model Options.
   
   The Model Options dialog box appears.
2. Select an object type in the Naming Convention node in the Category tree.
   
   The name format options for the selected type of object open to the Name page.
   
3. Select a template in the Naming Template dropdown listbox.
   
   The values of the selected template appear in the name format boxes.
   
4. Select the Code Tab.
5. Select a template in the Naming Template dropdown listbox.
   
   The values of the selected template appear in the code format boxes.
6. Click OK.
