Chapter 10 Generating a Database from a PDM

Previewing tablespace and storage commands

You can preview tablespace and storage commands before you generate them.

To preview tablespace and storage commands:

1. Select Model→Tablespace.
   
   or
   
   Select Model→Storage.
   
   The List of Tablespaces or List of Storages appears.
2. Click a tablespace or storage item in the list.
   
   An arrow appears at the beginning of the line.
3. Double-click the arrow at the start of the line.
   
   or
   
   Click the Properties tool.
   
   The Tablespace or Storage properties sheet opens to the General page.
4. Click the Preview tab.
   
   The Preview page appears. It shows the corresponding command for the target DBMS.
   
5. Click OK.
   
   You return to the List of tablespaces or storage.
6. Click OK.
