Chapter 9 Generating Other Models from a PDM
SQL/XML is an XML extension of the Structured Query Language. It allows you to retrieve data from a relational database, and to present the query results in an XML format.
As the XML Builder Wizard attaches the SQL/XML extended model definition to the generated XML model, SQL/XML queries can be automatically generated for global elements.
