Selecting a data type for a domain from the list

Steps To select a data type for a domain from the list:

  1. Select Model→Domains to display the List of Domains.
  2. Click the domain that you want to define to display an arrow at the beginning of the line.
  3. Click the Data Type column to display a dropdown listbox.
  4. Select a data type from the data type dropdown listbox.

    Note   Defining a data type later
    If you do not want to select a data type immediately, you can choose the <Undefined> data type. When you generate the database, this data type is replaced by the default data type for your target DBMS.

  5. Click OK.
