Creating a view index in a query table
You create a view index from the property sheet of a view of type summary table, materialized view, or snapshot.
To create a view index in a query table:
- Double-click a query table in the diagram to display the view property sheet.
- Click the Indexes tab.
The Indexes page appears. It lists indexes associated with the view.
- Click a new line in the list.
or
Click the Add a Row tool.
An arrow appears at the beginning of the line.
- Type an index name and code and click Apply.
- Click the Properties tool.
or
Double-click the arrow at the beginning of the line.
The index property sheet opens to the General page.
- Type or select index properties.
- Click OK in each of the dialog boxes.
