Chapter 3 Building Physical Diagrams

Defining view references in a physical diagram

A view reference is a link between a parent table or view and a child table or view. It is used to define a set of predefined joins between the columns of the parent and the child table or view.

View references are not generated in the database.

Example

Table Orders is the parent of view Customer_Order.
