Print options

When you print a diagram, you can select the following print options from the Print diagram dialog box. It also displays a preview of the selection you want to print:

Groupbox Option Description
Page range Number of copies Number of copies you want to print. You can type it or use the arrows.
  All Prints all the pages of the diagram.
  From / To Prints a range of pages covered by the diagram. The corresponding pages are framed in the Preview window.
  Selected Prints the pages you select in the Preview window.
Zoom Number of pages Total number of pages covered by the diagram depending on the page scale you select or type.
  Page scale Page scale in percentage that you select or type. It influences the number of pages covered by the diagram.
  Fit to pages Reduces the page scale of the diagram so that it prints on the pages you selected in the Fit to pages list, for example 1x3, 2x4 etc. By doing so, you select the number of horizontal and vertical pages covered by the diagram. The Number of pages option is automatically updated and the Center in pages option is unavailable. These parameters are not saved and your diagram stays unchanged in the diagram window. If you want to apply these changes to your diagram, you should use the Symbol→Fit to Page command from the menu bar and the File→Page Setup for paper orientation.
  Center in pages Centers the diagram in the pages that it covers. The Fit to pages option is automatically unavailable.
Print options Frame Solid line border around graphic on all pages.
  Corner Crop marks in corners on all pages. These marks make it possible to align diagrams that print over several pages.
  Mode: Black&White Print from a black-and-white printer.
  Mode: Color Prints from a color printer.
Printer Name Name of the printer. Select a printer from the Name list. The information that displays below the Name box applies to the selected printer until you change it. You can click the Page Setup button to modify the current printer parameters.
  Type Identifies the selected printer.
  Where Identifies the location of the printer.
  Comment Displays additional information about the selected printer.
  Paper Actual paper size to be printed depending on what is selected in the Page Setup dialog box.
  Orientation Portrait or Landscape depending on what is selected in the Page Setup dialog box.
  Resolution Number of dots per inch.
