Attaching a file object to a PowerDesigner object using the Link/Extended Dependency tool

You can attach a file object to a PowerDesigner object using the Link/Extended Dependency tool in the diagram toolbar.

Steps To attach a file object to a PowerDesigner object using the Link/Extended Dependency tool:

  1. Select the Link/Extended dependency tool in the diagram toolbar.
  2. Click inside the file object symbol in the diagram, and while continuing to hold down the mouse button, drag and drop the cursor to the PowerDesigner object symbol. Release the mouse button.
