Attaching a description or an annotation to an object

You can attach a description or an annotation to an object from the Notes tab in the object property sheet.

Beside, you can modify the text format of the description or annotation by defining font, paragraph and tabs format.

Steps To attach a description or an annotation to an object:

  1. Double-click an object in the diagram to display the object property sheet.
  2. Click the Notes tab.

    The Description tab is displayed by default.
  3. Type a description.

    or

    Click the Annotation tab and type an annotation.
  4. Click OK.

Note   Navigating between tabs
Use ctrl + page down or ctrl + page up to move to the next or to the previous tab and display the corresponding object type tab.

Note   Object is annotated
You can see if an object in the diagram has notes by opening the object list to which it belongs and customize the display of the list so the N column (N stands for Notes) is displayed. If the check box corresponding to the object is selected in the N column, the object in the diagram is annotated.
