PowerDesigner automatically creates links when you use the following features:

• Requirement to design object link.
• Extended dependencies between objects.
• Extended collections.
• Calculated collections.
• Related diagrams.
• Data import/export.
• Objet mappings.

In each case, shortcuts are silently created in the model.
