Chapter 5 Building a Process Hierarchy Diagram
You can modify the following display preferences in the process hierarchy diagram using the Tools→Display Preferences command:

Displays hierarchy horizontally or vertically in the diagram |
Object View > Process | Stereotype | Displays the stereotype of the process |
"Implemented by" icon | Displays the "Implemented by" icon on the process symbol | |
Show location: Never Always Root symbol |
Location indicates the relationship between a parent process and its sub-processes. It is useful when a sub-process is displayed as a root-process in a hierarchy. Select Never, if you do not want the location to be displayed in a process symbol. Select Always, if you want the location to be displayed in all the process symbols. Select Root symbol, if you only want the location to be displayed in the root process symbols | |
Format > Branch | (Modify symbol format) | Allows you to modify the line style and the shadow format for a branch |
