Chapter 9 Building an Executable BPM: Managing Data and Choreography
The flow XML element in BPEL4WS specifies the execution of several activity paths in parallel. It allows you to define links joining the activities contained in a process.
You define parallel branching instructions by selecting the appropriate stereotype in the synchronization object for both split and merge of parallel paths.
