Understanding the process language editor

You use the process language editor to consult or modify a process language (.XPL file).

Steps To display the process language editor:

  1. Select Language→Edit Current Process Language.

    or

    Select Tools→Resources→Process Languages and double-click an existing process language.

    The Process Language Properties page appears.


The process language editor lets you navigate through the process language categories and entries. Depending on the selected item, the right side of the page changes. The name Metaclass is used in the PowerDesigner documentation to identify an object as a metaclass. Metaclasses in the tree view of the resource editor are categories.
