Chapter 3 DBMS Reference Guide
A transformation profile is a group of transformations used during model generation when you need to apply changes to objects in the source or target models.
You define a transformation profile in the Transformation Profiles category of an extended model definition, an object language, a DBMS, or a process language. Each profile is identified by the model in which the current resource file is defined, a model type, a family and a subfamily.
