Generating the Java Code and WSAD Projects

Steps To generate the Java code and WSAD projects from PowerAMC:

  1. Select Language→Generate Java Code.
  2. Select the main directory where you want to generate the WSAD projects. Each WSAD project will be a subdirectory of this directory
  3. In the Targets page, verify that IBM WebSphere 5.0 is selected.
  4. In the Selection page, select all the packages, classes and interfaces you want to generate.
  5. In the Options page, make sure that the value of the "Generate WebSphere Application Developer 5.0 project files" option is set to true:
  6. In the Tasks page, do not select any command task.
  7. Click on OK to generate the Java code and WSAD projects.

PowerAMC generates all the Java source code, deployment descriptors and WSAD project files then displays the list of generated files. You can use an external editor to view the generated files:
