Chapter 8 Creating J2EE Applications for BEA WebLogic
EJB QL is a portable query language for creating entity EJB finders. It is an SQL-like language that is used to select one or more entity EJB objects or fields. The search space for an EJB QL query consists of the EJB's schema as defined in ejb-jar.xml (the bean's collection of container-managed fields and their associated database columns).
