Adding WebLogic Server Support

PowerAMC can generate standard CMP or BMP EJBs and application server specific descriptors.

PowerAMC uses Extended Model Definition to support additional targets like application server, O/R mapping tool, IDE workspace, etc. An Extended Model Definition (XEM) defines stereotypes, extended attributes, code generation templates, commands and options. A XEM can add new code templates or override the templates of a target language (Java, XML, ...). A XEM can also be independent of the target language. The code generation templates use code templates and macros.

Steps To add WebLogic Server support:

  1. Be sure that the current Class Diagram has the Java target language
  2. Choose Model→Extended Model Definitions
  3. In the list of Extended Model Definitions, click on the Import button:
  4. Select BEA WebLogic Server from the list:
