Summary Page

Use the Summary page of the service editor to review or update the following sections:

Service Summary

In the Service Summary section, you can:

Review the Service Type Name and Service Type Description.
Edit the Service Name, Category, and Description.

Other Details

In the Other Details section, you can edit the Version, Author, and Date Created fields as necessary.

The Target Namespace field can also be edited, however, it is recomended that you use caution editing the target namespace. When the service created the default target namespace is assigned, however if you modify the namespace, you must ensure that two services do not have the same target namespace. When creating the services package, services are checked and an error is reported if a service name and target namespace combination is duplicated.

Service Interface

In the Service Interface section, you can review the service interface, operation, and binding structure. To edit this structure, return to the Service Interface page.

References

The References section displays any dependencies for the service. This includes all resources that are used by or that use this service.
