From the Service Interface page of a service editor, you can review and edit the service properties.
To edit service properties:
In a service editor, click the Service Interface tab.
The Service Interface page appears.
In the Service Interface diagram, click to select the service.
In the Properties section or Properties Panels view, edit the following default information or enter information if it has not been provided during service development. Consider how these changes might affect how the service is accessed:

| Property | Description |

| Name | Rename the service. |
| Description | Edit or enter a description if the service does not have a description. |
| Category | Select a category from the drop-down menu. |
| TargetNameSpace | It is recommended that this value not be edited at this time. The Target NameSpace is used to make a unique identifier for the service and affects how the service is called and how it is identified in composite services. |
| Date Created | Date service is originally created. |
| Author | Author name. |
| Version | The version number automatically updates when changes are made. |
