Editing a Service Operation

Edit any service operation using the Service Interface page.

To edit a service operation:

Select the appropriate action and enter information in the dialog box.

Select an operation in the service interface to display its properties in the Properties panel.

Edit any of the following default properties:

Operation properties

Property	Service	Description
Name	Business Process	Rename the operation from the default name to a meaningful name.
Description	Business Process	Provide an internal description, such as an explanation of this operation.
Input Message Name	Business Process	Provide the name of the input message.
Output Message Name	Business Process	Provide the name of the output message.
Visible	Business Process	Sybase recommends that the default setting Visible is used. See Defining a Private Service operation for more information.
