This topic describes how to import and export Unwired Accelerator resources (.xml and .ua files) from the Mobile Development perspective.
Importing an Unwired Accelerator resource
The Import wizard allows you to import a resource from an Unwired Accelerator server installation:
Select File | Import. The Select wizard displays.
Select Unwired Accelerator Server Resources and click Next. The list of defined Unwired Accelerator Connection Profiles displays.
Select the Unwired Accelerator connection from which you are importing and click Next. The Unwired Accelerator Server Resources wizard displays.
Complete the following options and click Finish to import the resource:
UA File - enter the name of (or use Browse to locate) the file to be imported.
Show Server Import Log - display the import log when the import completes.
Overwrite Existing Entities - if the resource already exists, overwrite it with the imported resource.
Exporting an Unwired Accelerator resource
The Export wizard allows you to export a resource from an Unwired Accelerator server installation to a resource file:
Select File | Export. The Select wizard displays.
Select Unwired Accelerator Server Resources and click Next. The list of defined Unwired Accelerator Connection Profiles displays.
Select the Unwired Accelerator connection from which you are exporting and click Next. The Unwired Accelerator Server Resources wizard displays the Approved mobile applications folder from which to make your selections.
Complete the following options and click Finish to export the resource to the specified file:
Select All - selects all of the mobile applications in the Approved folder.
Deselect All - deselects all of the mobile applications.
To UA File - enter the name of (or use Browse to locate) the file to which you are exporting.
Show Server Export Log - display the export log when the export completes.
