Creating a Java Project

Create a Java project using the New Project wizard. A Java project of Sybase project with Java nature is required for developing a Java service. The wizard displays help that assists you in the decisions and selections that you need to make when you are creating your project.

Alternately, you can add the Java nature to a project when running the New Service wizard or configure the Java nature to a Sybase project and configure the Java builder to run in the project.

To create a Java project:

  1. From the main menu bar, select File|New|Project:

    Note

For alternate ways to access the New Project wizard, see Wizards.
