Enabling Adaptive Server Enterprise Features

You can enable the following Adaptive Server Enterprise features manually or with the ASE Features Enabling wizard:

To enable features using the ASE Features Enabling wizard:

  1. Make sure you have created a connection profile for an Adaptive Server Enterprise in Enterprise Explorer, and connect to the ASE server.

  2. Expand the connection profile for your Adaptive Server Enterprise, select a database.

  3. Right-click on the database and select Enable ASE Features in the context menu. The ASE Features Enabling wizard appears.

    Note

If the Enable ASE Features option does not appear in the context menu, right-click your ASE server, choose Refresh from the context menu, and repeat the previous step.

  4. Modify the following fields.
